We often talk about Toyota's legendary reliability, but how far can one Toyota really go? The average car is ready to drop around the 200,000-mile mark. Victor Sheppard's 2007 Toyota Tundra surpassed 1,000,000 miles.

Sheppard's job takes him all across the country, and he tallies up the mileage fast -- 125,000 per year on average.

Satellites are great.

Satellite communication allows you to distribute large amounts of data quickly, it is accessible almost everywhere (unlike cell phone signals which require a tower), and is more stable in natural disasters which can wipe out other land-based communications.

It seems like a great solution for companies that want to create more connected vehicles.

Unlike many of its contemporaries in the ever-expanding crossover class, the Toyota 4Runner has managed to always stay true to its old-school SUV roots. Bold, boxy and brawny, the 4Runner is, in many ways, the last bastion of a dying breed.

The annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show kicked off in Vegas yesterday, and with it some pretty special concepts debuted from our preferred Toyota brand and other automakers.
