It's quite clear that Mr. Jones digs on the RAV4's 2.5-liter four-cylinder drivetrain -- and for good reason. It's sufficiently spunky -- with 176 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque on tap -- and extraordinarily fuel efficient, as well. When had with front-wheel drive, for instance, the RAV4 should deliver 26 mpg combined (23 city/31 highway).
